Today there was a new baby alpaca. When the neighbors called, we ran straight over. Our neighbor called just after she pulled the baby out. The momma was too tired. The vet said everything is okay!
I get to pick the name this time! I will be given three names to chose from. Mark got to pick Wicket’s name. We will know her name in an hour or two.

We went to a class on Wild Edibles. We learned how to make honey out of clovers! It was good 🙂 You can eat the clovers but make sure they do not have poison on them.
Boil the sugar, water and alum together for 5 minutes. Pour over flowers and allow to stand 5 minutes. Strain into sterile canning jars and seal tightly. Can be stored for years.
Eat with spoon and enjoy!
I was the Junior Bride’s maid in Uncle Phil’s and Auntie Michelle’s wedding yesterday. It was exciting.

Momma showed us how to do something new with jump roping. It is when more than one person goes in and jumps. It is more challenging.

Momma wants us to learn how to jump in while someone else is jumping too! Then she said we can learn how to get out of the jump rope. It sounds fun!

Aunties Angie’s birthday was the day after Memorial Day. So we celebrated on Memorial Day. We made a caterpillar cake. She said she has never had a caterpillar cake!

Daddy had a srpris for Mommy, it was a pickr frame. She tuk her kamra and tok pichers of us. And she told me to be sily so she kod take a picker. So I did. Hear it is.

We went across the street to see if any baby crea’s were born. We were surprised to find one of the babies had JUST been born! The owners did not expect the baby to be coming today 🙂
We stayed around and made sure one of the other alpacas did not hurt the baby. We locked them up in the other side. We had to be sure that the baby stood up and eat something. We were told to make sure his head was up and his ears were forward. He looks like a healthy baby, but he is the smallest so far. If there were problems we needed to call the neighbors RIGHT AWAY and hopefully we never have to use the stuff in the emergency cupboard.
I like the new baby, he is very soft!
