We are having a gorp making contest. Gorp stands for Good Old Raisins and Peanuts.  But you can use any dried fruits and nuts that you want.  The rules were we had to make up our own recipe, or improve an existing one.  We also had to have the ingredients in the house.  What would you put in your gorp? Which entry  do you think would be the best?

Hummingbirds

Momma was taking hummingbird pictures before they migrate. I wanted to take some. So I sat doing nothing, waiting for a hummingbird to come. It was nice and cool. There was a little bit of a breeze. I felt lazy. It felt good!

It’s A Girl! (Alpaca)

NewestThe newest alpaca, at this time, was born this afternoon. It’s a girl! She has LONG ears. She is a rosy brown. We met her when she was a few minutes old.

We are waiting for one more.  We hope it comes tomorrow, so we have three in a row 🙂

Newest

Megan is the guest speaker today.

The neighbors had their first alpaca for this year. The new alpaca  is little and cute. It is white with a pink nose. And it is soft. It likes me. I like it too. It so cute. It is princess Leah’s first baby. Everyone held it. Andrea take a picture of me. The alpaca’s name is Kit (Fisto). We think we should call it Kitten. We saw him this afternoon. We had fun playing with it. Momma didn’t hold it.

Pictures and Roses

We got roses yesterday for Daddy’s birthday. I wanted a new picture of me so I asked Momma if she could take some.  I liked being able to borrow Daddy’s flowers too.

Happy Birthday late Daddy!  I love you 🙂

Sand Dune Art

Andreacone.smLast week I was in Junior High Camp at Lake Ann Camp.  My cabin counselor’s name was Kayla. She was nice.  A lot of people thought we looked alike.

We went to the sand dunes. We had an activity called “cover your counselor”. We had to cover her with sand and make her look like something. We chose to make her look like an ice cream cone. Then one of the girls had to run to the bathroom.  When Kayla came back, another girl had to run to the bathroom with her.  We had to start covering our counselor at the same time. Some of the girls in my cabin asked the leaders “what should we do?  Our Counselor is running to the bathroom”.

He said, “isn’t that your counselor” and he pointed at me!  The girls said no.  He said something like, “well, if she wants to get covered in sand, you can cover her in sand instead of your counselor.” I said I would.  I got covered in a lot of sand!

It was contest to see who was the most creative. We won!

P.S.  Thank you Lake Ann Camp for giving me permission to use this picture!  It is a fun to see what I looked like!
