Last week I was in Junior High Camp at Lake Ann Camp. My cabin counselor’s name was Kayla. She was nice. A lot of people thought we looked alike.
We went to the sand dunes. We had an activity called “cover your counselor”. We had to cover her with sand and make her look like something. We chose to make her look like an ice cream cone. Then one of the girls had to run to the bathroom. When Kayla came back, another girl had to run to the bathroom with her. We had to start covering our counselor at the same time. Some of the girls in my cabin asked the leaders “what should we do? Our Counselor is running to the bathroom”.
He said, “isn’t that your counselor” and he pointed at me! The girls said no. He said something like, “well, if she wants to get covered in sand, you can cover her in sand instead of your counselor.” I said I would. I got covered in a lot of sand!
It was contest to see who was the most creative. We won!
P.S. Thank you Lake Ann Camp for giving me permission to use this picture! It is a fun to see what I looked like!
Ha ha What fun.
Well you do look like her! Or was that you?
I am in the sand. My counselor is behind me in the red shirt.
