Chai Taste Test

We made some home made instant chai. Then we had a taste test.

We wrote on a piece of paper which one we thought we would like best. Then we tasted one, two, three, four and five.

My favorite one was FIVE because it was the creamiest.  I don’t like number three, it tasted like water.

This chart is who liked what.  Everybody did it except for Momma, because she knew which one was which.

  1. It was really really good. I wish we had more.

    The spices like to settle at the bottem, yuck!

    If you put powdered chocolate mix into your cup, it tastes better.

  2. The chocolate only tastes better if you like Chocolate Chai!

    I did not add my input, but I thought FIVE was too sweet, though it was creamy. I liked both ONE and FOUR which were the same recipe using two different instant teas. THREE was an accident, it was a chai tea bag made with a little milk and sugar, but I did not let it soak long enough so it was very weak. We should compare it when made properly.

    But, the very best Chai was not included. Black Tea with milk and freshly ground cardamom. 🙂
