Golden Birthday!

Today I turned nine! Daddy bought me some flowers.

Oma and Opa came in the night to eat dinner with us. I picked macaroni and cheese (with shell noodles) and ham. We had strawberry Pink Princess Cake and strawberry ice cream and fresh strawberries! Yummm!

I had a good birthday.

P.S. Oma called it my “Golden  Birthday” because I turned 9 on 9/9! Just for fun, Momma took the picture on the left at 9:09.

Christmas

TeddyI liked my Christmas! I had the funnest Christmas too.

We went to Oma’s house for Christmas.  Lots of people were there, my uncles and some friends and my aunts, Oma and Opa, Momma and Daddy and my siblings.

I got some pajamas that Momma made me, a my little pony, a scarf that Auntie Beth made me. Momma and MeI got some necklaces from Great Grandma and a pretty hanger for my barrettes that Auntie Angelique made and some books from Uncle John.  I got a teddy bear from Uncle Josh and Auntie Angie and a shirt from Auntie Josette and Uncle Beau.  Grandma and Grandpa gave me a puzzle and a book and some treats. Oma and Opa gave me some special brushes.

From Santa I got an American Girl Doll that looks just like me.  It also has earrings just like me. Her name is Renee. She is very special because she is very expensive. She is special also because I have been wanting her for a LONG time. She was my secret prayer request. God answered my prayer.Andrea and Renee

I am Thankful for

SmileToday is Thanksgiving Day. Tomorrow we are celebrating Thanksgiving at Oma’s house. Today we are doing a little bit of school, a little bit of house chores and baking for tomorrow.  It will be a fun day!

Apple Picking

Apples!Picking applesWalking with DaddyOn Saturday  we had a fun and busy day. We went apple picking.  We picked some apples.  I think they were Cortland apples.  Adrian picked some apples from small branches (the low ones).  He wanted little apples.  I picked from high up in the tree, big apples!  I was on Daddy’s shoulders.

We couldn’t go on the pumpkin ride because it was too busy.  I felt sad, I really wanted to do it.

Enjoying the dayI love fall!Daddy treated us to hot dogs, A&W Root beer and chips.  We got to eat in the car!  We had dessert from Dairy Queen.  We got a Dilly Bar.  Audrey calls it a big chocolate chip ice cream on a stick.  I never had one before.  I liked it.  Audrey says “yum, yum, yum”.

We are going to make applesauce and apple crisp and dried apples.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today is Daddy’s Birthday!  For breakfast we are going to give him some banana rolls and tonight we are going to have cookout.  It’s still a surprise so, I can’t say what we are having.

I love him! And he loves me!

P.S.  These pictures are of fighting the Scout Wars.  They were trying to defend the Golden Beads.   Princess Renee made Daddy his special shied for safety.  Princess Sarah and Prince Caspian went along to help protect him.  Prince Mark made it half way and died  ):  defending the Golden Beads.  He got hit by a water balloon.
