We wanted something new.\u00c2\u00a0 We wanted something fair like. We read that they eat Beaver’s Tails in Canada where Daddy is. We thought they sounded like the best thing to make. Here is the recipe that we cut in half because they make too many. For 18 Beaver’s Tails<\/strong> Dissolve 1\/2 tablespoon sugar and the yeast in 1\/4 cup warm water. Set aside until foamy. Add butter, remaining water, salt and sugar. \n1\/2 tablespoon white sugar
\n1\/4 cup warm water (110 degrees F)
\n1\/2 tablespoon active dry yeast
\n2 tablespoon softened butter
\n1 cup plus 6 tablespoon warm water (110 degrees F)
\n1\/2 teaspoon salt, we omitted
\n2 tablespoons white sugar

2 1\/2 to 3 1\/2 cups flour (We used 1 cup soft whole wheat and the rest unbleached all purposed flour)
\nCanola oil for frying
\nCinnamon sugar mix for topping if desired
\nNutella for topping if desired<\/p>\n
\nGradually mix in flour and knead to form a soft nice dough.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, and turn to coat. Cover with a damp towel, and place in a warm place and let rise until doubled.
\nForm the dough into balls about the size of eggs, then roll flat to make beaver tail shapes about 1\/4 inch thick. Heat the oil between 350 to 385\u00c2\u00b0 F in a deep fryer.
\nHave Momma fry the dough while the kids roll the dough out.
\nFry the beaver tails one at a time, until light brown on both sides. Place on paper towels to drain. Sprinkle with white sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice (we forgot to try) while still ![\"Eat\"](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/andrea.mcguireclan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/Eat.jpg?resize=120%2C150&ssl=1\" "\\"Eat\\"")
hot.
