I made some new treats. Opa and Oma are in Bonaire. \u00a0Opa put the recipe for the sugar waffles on his blog. Momma knew about\u00a0Stroopwafels<\/em> and we wanted to try them too.<\/p>\n

The Stroopwafels<\/em><\/a> (Dutch Syrup Waffles)\u00a0were good. I did not cook the syrup long enough\u00a0so the syrup ran a lot. Daddy cooked it longer and then it was like a chewy candy.<\/p>\n

Sugar Waffles<\/a> were like pizzelles. They would be very good with ice cream.
