\"Fabric<\/a>Audrey and I\u00c2\u00a0 are starting a quilt. Mine is pinks and purples.\u00c2\u00a0 My theme idea is flowers and butterflies. Audrey’s material is browns and greens and her theme is monkeys!<\/p>\n

We sorted our colors we have been collecting into lightest to darkest. \"Fabric<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0 Then we took pictures to make sure they were in the right order.\u00c2\u00a0 That was hard because I have lots of different colors. Sometimes we thought one was lighter or darker and when we saw the black and white we realized it was in the wrong place. Then we fixed it and did it again until it was all right.<\/p>\n

We are using the book Simply Dynamic Sampler Quilts<\/a>\"\" by Marianne L.Hatton.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"I have been collecting cotton material and the book says a lot is good!\u00c2\u00a0 I don’t have a lot yet. According to the book, I have a good start though. We have been getting quarter yard pieces, but Momma says we should start getting half yards, unless it is really pretty and then we will get a little more. I guess it depends on how fast we use the material.<\/p>\n

We started it up today because it is Fun Friday and we will try to work on it every week. I will post finished blocks when I have them.<\/p>\n
