Chai Taste Test

We made some home made instant chai. Then we had a taste test.

We wrote on a piece of paper which one we thought we would like best. Then we tasted one, two, three, four and five.

My favorite one was FIVE because it was the creamiest.  I don’t like number three, it tasted like water.

This chart is who liked what.  Everybody did it except for Momma, because she knew which one was which.

If you want to see how to make it, go to Momma’s recipe blog.

My First Full Bible!

I got a new Bible and a new notebook for Christmas from Mommy and Daddy.  My Bible cover is a dark pink and light pink.   There is a heart with the dark pink and it has a zipper to put my lip gloss in.

I wanted a new Bible because I learned how to read.  It is a special treat when you get older.   When we learn  how to read, we get a Bible.  I get to read it by myself now!  I will read it on Sunday and Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday and Friday and Saturday.

I like my Bible.  It is kinda of hard, but fun.

Happy May Day

Today we got flowers!  They were outside on the salt bags.  It’s a mystery who gave them to us.  It says Happy May Day & God Bless You.

I like them.  There were “Heart’s Blood”  (Bleeding Hearts), Tulips, and Daffodils.   My favorite are the Heart’s Blood.

We think it was Auntie Angelique or Uncle Sam.

Thank you for whoever gave us the flowers.

Birthday Cookie Experiment

It’s Grandpa’s birthday.

We are making cookies because it is Grandpa’s birthday today.  I want to share them.  If you want one, come over and say “Happy Birthday to Grandpa”, you will get a cookie, even though Grandpa is not here.

They are Cowgirl Cookies.  There is chocolate chips, raisins, cranberries, oatmeal, and butter in them.  I am going to put half of them with nuts and half of them without walnuts.

The first batch is in the oven.  You can start coming whenever until 6:30 tonight.  Tomorrow you can come after 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. because we have church.

My experiment is to see how many people come.  I think at least, about, maybe four people will come.  I want at least 10 people to come.

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Friends over!

Tori and Shaely came over today.  They are my friends.

Tori and I was playing dress up.  We were pretending to be Momma’s.  Tori was the one with orange hat.  I was the one with the blue hat.

We played “Tag your it”.  And we played on the swings.   We climbed trees in the front.

We played clown with Shaely and Mark.

We had lots of fun!  I want them to come over again.

Old Dolls!

Today we went to Grandma’s house.  We saw some old dolls.

One was Grandma’s and it was 60 years old.  When Grandma was five, she got the doll.  Her sister was asked what she wanted.  Her sister said a train.

There are three black dolls.  One is in this pretty dress, all pink.  One is in overalls with a striped shirt and then the last one is a little doll in overalls that look like pants with a shirt. These are from Mrs. Washington.  They were Great Grandma Lamb’s.  She is Momma’s Daddy’s Momma.  Mrs.  Washington was her neighbor. She called Great Grandma Lamb “her white granddaughter!”.

There were some other dolls.  They were littler.  Great Grandma said that one was from Great Grandpa when he went to England and it was over 100 years old! The oldest doll is sitting by my arm on the right by the black doll.

There was other fragile ones.  Some of them were between in age.

Momma’s dolls are porcelain dolls.  One has white hair, one has yellow hair.  The yellow hair one has a red dress with a sunbonnet.  The white hair doll has a white and green dress and wearing a white hat with a green ribbon.

In the picture with Great Grandma, Mark is standing on his tippy toes!
